Inside the company, the diverse human, technical and financial resources interact under the influence of numerous external factors. 
The management of this kind of system requires organisation to master the use of resources and their monitoring in order to guarantee durability. Industrial System Engineering is a discipline centred on the mastery of the Enterprise's system dynamics.

The objectives of this course are:

  • to give the necessary tools to manage industrial systems, in particular project management,
  • to train key staff of the company.

  • Knowledge in Economics and in Human and social sciences.
  • Mastery and monitoring of the different resources of the company (human, technical, financial).
  • Mastery of the Enterprise system's dynamics.
  • Broad vision of the activity of the engineer in a company.
  • Ability to act on the entire industrial process
  • Many activity sectors: engineering, industrialisation, production, quality, information systems, logistics, project management, entrepreneurship.
  • Teamwork and interdisciplinary projects.

Admissions

  • Employees, job seekers or students who have at least a 4th year of university level or 2nd year of university level and 3 years of professional experience (VAP).
  • Scientific Baccalauréat (or an equivalent to the French high school scientific diploma)

2 academic paths

  • Engineering and Project management (IMP for the French "Ingénierie et Maîtrise de Projet"), focused on project management in all sectors
  • Enterpreneurship and Innovative Project (EPI for the French "Entreprenariat et Projet Innovant"),  focused on the starting up of a business.

Education programme

UE1 (Academic unit 1)

Project management: analysis and implementation of a project, evaluation of the costeffectiveness, requirements engineering, Operational planning, Analysis of the risk of the project, cost estimates and investments, project control, Balance of project and feedback, cost control, configuration management, Project management software, Project development planning.

UE2

Production systems: Basic knowledge in production management, operational research, Purchasing and subcontracting, Stock management, production planning, Maintenance and GMAO, Scheduling, Models/simulation, Logistics, Flow simulation.

UE3

Quality control: Functional and value analysis, applied statistics, Innovation in design, Statistic control of processes, Experimental design, Customer/Supplier interaction, Quality insurrance and certification.

UE4

Information system: Architecture of information systems, IT management system, Internet control, Management information system, Internet proficiency, ICT, Database, Economic intelligence, ERP.

UE5

Humanities: Understanding of the company, management control, Legal structure of the companies, Commercial function, Institutional partners of the enterprise, market analysis, Process and Support to Enterpreneurship, Industrial property, communication and meeting management, Contract law, Business taxation , Social legislation, Risk management, Business strategy and funding, Status and responsabilities of the decision-maker, Recruitment techniques and practices.

All students are to complete a work placement of 5 to 6 months.
